I have been going to the Ambassator restaurant since it opened. I got to know it’s owner and his family. In all that time. I have alway got a good meal ,have been treated with respect by the owner and his staff.I find Fidel the owner a good friend and a super host who goes out of his way to see you have a great experience in his restaurant. No business is 100% but I find my experience is always close to it.

This restaurant is fabulous. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing.If you haven't tried it you absolutely must!!

It is the site of the old Alpine Restaurant. I remember the old East Utica Restaurants and this one did not disappoint. The sauces were thick and tasty and the food was excellent. i felt like I was back in the sixties when you could get great Italian food all through the East end. On the weekend you have better make reservations because the place can really pack out. For those of us that look forward to the old East Utica experience of our youth, you will not be disappointed. I spoke with the owner at length and this ia s savvy Bosnian that wants nothing bu the best for his customers.Turned out i knew one of the waitresses and they all respect and love him.

Food was overpriced and undercooked. Service was terrible and slow, and the owner was rude to his employees right in front of our party. Will not be returning, do not reccomend.
