Top Reviews of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

I miss the old Red Robin at 200th and the bypass! We used to go to that one quite frequently. The service and food were always decent and we were very sad when it closed, but quite happy that there was a new one by the mall. We went there for dinner 2 months ago and the service was terrible, I had ordered a poutine fries with my burger and ended having to eat it with my fingers even though I had asked several times for just a fork throughout our time dining that night as they had no clean cutlery in the kitchen. It seemed extremely disorganized and chaotic. We went again tonight and it was even worse than the last time, if that was possible. Trouble is it appeared so disorganized in the kitchen area that I can't even blame the horrible service on our waitress! She was doing a great job until there seemed to be some confusion as to who was serving us. We once again had cutlery issues because the kitchen apparently either doesn't have enough silverware or possibly the dishwasher isn't doing a very good job. The busboy was hustling and clearing tables at top speed so I know it wasn't him. We ordered our drinks, our waitress brought them out very quickly and proceeded to take our appy order. The Jalapeno dippers were decent, however the artichoke and spinach dip was barely lukewarm, it's usually served warm any time I've had it. Then a different waitress brought out our food, at which point we had to ask for the second time for cutlery as they only had knives the first time. The garlic fries my daughter ordered were basically just fries with a bare amount of grated parmasan cheese on them, she said she couldn't taste any garlic at all. The second waitress never really paid any attention to us after that, the first one we could see was busy with other tables. We didn't find out til later that she was told the other girl was taking over our table, but apparently no one told the second waitress either because we were basically ignored by her until she finally came around to see if we needed anything. Our drinks were not only empty by that time but the glasses had been picked up by the busboy... We ordered drinks and she disappeared, the first waitress came by and we told her we had ordered drinks but some time had passed and we were wondering when they'd arrive. She said she'd check on them and shortly after that the second waitress came back with our drinks, only thing with them was my daughter had ordered an adult freckled lemonade and it basically tasted like water with strawberries, couldn't even taste any vodka or lemonade in it. We have never experienced anything like that at the old location. I don't understand what all changed behind the scenes but the lack of organization is apparent everywhere from the time we walked in, throughout our entire time there and from what we could see in the kitchen. We aren't planning any return trips to this location as the place seems to be only going downhill and not worth spending our time or money at. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the waitress we started with was the only good part of our experience there tonight, so the star is for her, NOT the restaurant.
