I order from this place pretty often, like around 5 times a month, and I really like it! The deep fried chicken balls can be a bit greasy, but the BBQ pork chow mein is delicious, and I'm totally obsessed with the honey garlic pork - it's so good! Just a heads up, they only accept cash and cheques, but the people there are really nice.

The New Village Chinese Food Restaurant on Quadra Street: The Chinese food is delicious with fresh ingredients, best chow mein in town, delivery is cash only, and nice people too!

I have been going here for a while now. The staff is always friendly. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. They offer 10% discount for pick up and are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area.

Only place we order Chinese food from in Victoria. Everything tastes fresh and flavours are great. Not as greasy as other places and the beef chow fun is delicious.

Been getting my Chinese food from this family for years.
Tried others over the years but New Village consistently gives me good food at a fair price.

why so secretive about the kitchen they seem to really not want anyone to see back there literally coming out of the kitchen sideways so you don't see the kitchen behind the door. having said that the food is very good but i am hesitant for this reason.
