We visited passing through, it's been a longtime. Won't come back again though. Place was excessively dirty. And the servers were overly rude. Which I feel is understandable, due to all of them come from hillbilly west virginia. And come over to virginia to have work. But poorly educated or trained even. It took a little while for anyone to come get our order after being seated. And there was only two other tables besides ours. Not busy what so ever. But took almost an hour for our small dinner order to be served. Burgers fries, a T-bone and eggs, Pancakes and eggs bacon, And salads all around. You ask for french fries you get hash browns. You ask for an english muffin you get toast. Basically what ever you ask for, you'll get something either different or not prepared the way you specifically ask for it. To cold or over cooked, or ask for an item and you'll either get something different or they simply don't bring it. Finding your server, is like pulling teeth, very hard.
And god forbid, don't ask for any dressings, or for any condiments. Because it's almost like ordering another meal. They're charging for salad dressings for your salads, which is something you're supposed to get. Guess they think you wanna eat them dry. You ask for a certain lettuce, you get the other, you ask for sliced tomatos you get cherry. I mean its wild, do those servers even listen to what you're saying to them or not.
You ask for sauce or some other condiment for your meat, or any of your sides like gravy or a dressing. You'll have to pay extra like a dollar per item.
And it's brought in a very tiny plasitic container, like a couple tea spoons worth. I mean it's totally ridiculous to us. Being that all other dennys out there, don't charge for those extra's. And the initial topping if you actually get one on your meal, is so little, we're thinking thats how they are making money, by over charging or additional charges for stuff you already should be getting. The one just down the road in the town of winchester, va. operates correctly and more efficiently and effectively and won't try to drain your wallet for little extras. And to top it off, they at least keep it a clean place to dine in. Wishing that we just drove another ten miles to get a better eperience for sure.

We feel bad for any long haul truck drivers that may stop in for a meal. Because It be like they won't get a good one, or they'll have to pay a fortune for whatever that they would order. Especially for them little extras.
Maybe thats their opinion on charges, because maybe they just don't wanna serve visitors to their location. And just be kind to their own local kind of people, fellow hillbillies or something. lol
Next time that we ever feel like dining at a denny's restaurant in that area.
We'll surely drive a bit further. Or definitely choose another restaurant in the area. But definitely won't ever go back to that one. Well not till they get people to work there, that know how to run a proper establishment.

Wish that i could of only given zero on the scale, but to write an honest review you have to at least give a one on it.

Good luck to anyone that ever goes there. Because their experience will surely be an eye opening one for sure. Thank You.
