So friendly and helpful...Best Pizza around!.....love their mushroom, swiss burger. When we order subs, they always ask heated or cold. Allow a little extra time in the summer...They're busy because the food is so good. When travelling, I always go to the busy place for that reason.

I agree with the post about the being overwhelmed in the summer, however this was a Monday night we ordered. When my husband went to pick up the pizza he gave his name and they said we don't have any any pizzas with that name, we have a ken, he kinda freaked because that was the name of his brother. They just ignored him and walked way, he texted me to asked what kind of oizza, he asked if they had those and they said yes, for ken. Get the pizzas home and they were AWFUl, everyone had severe stomach pains. We will NOT be ordering pizza here again. We were year round regular customers.

I have been a regular customer there for about a year, and the pizza is very good, However, don't ever order there on a Saturday night in summertime. They are so disorganized and overwhelmed when they are busy it is appalling. I went to the market and called my order in to Village. I got there 25 minutes later, and they said they had not received my order, but to give it to them again and I would have pizza in 25 minutes. After 45 minutes I asked what was going on. Five minutes later, they "found" my 2 pizzas that had been on the top of the oven the whole time. So, I paid for my 2 cold, soggy pizzas, then another person trotted out and asked if I wanted the 2 identical pizzas they had made after I arrived there. I left in disgust, and raced home to try to save my now thawed groceries.

great subs, great pizza, and great service! I went with my family for their cruse night that they have every friday during the summer. all the old cars park in the field and everyone gets to walk around and check the cars out! everything was so yummy and the girls at the front counter are always so nice!>>>just a little side note: this is NOT Bristol house of pizza in downtown bristol, Village PIzza of bristol is located near the lake, right by skips gun shop!

I just want to say that I love this rest...the service is the best and I'm a regular, they are very friendly and always make the best subs!!! Their pizza dough is made fresh daily and my grandson loves to go out to eat there we have made it a tradition in the summer time to go every Friday night.

Unfortunately, there really is no such thing as "gourmet" pizzas or Italien foods in central NH. This joint proves my point well. Service? *shrug* echh. Food? *shrug* echh. But if you are very, very hungry, your cupboards are bare, groceries are closed, and you have no gas $$ to go very far............then this is the place for you. I've made better tasting pizzas myself with "Bobboli" pizza shells.

have you ever craved something to eat that no matter what else you could have , it would not serve the satisfying purpose? i was jonesin' for a good italian sub and the foolish bastards at bristol house of pizza serve them heated in the oven and that is NOT a true italian sub! i decided to try the other pizza joint in town, village pizza on lake street. i ordered the italian with the works..oil of course..no mayo and COLD!..hots and i specifically mentioned..."don't be shy with the hots" i was like a droolin' dog waiting and when it was finally served...all my happiness immediately left! it was a HUGE sub roll with tonnes of lettuce and tomato..i couldn't find any oil or hot peppers on it..never mind meat or provalone. i was furious and i took the sub up to the counter..3 young girls where working..i should have known they wouldn't have a CLUE what italians are about...i grew up in boston and we had different sections of the city to get really good food you want. i asked where the oil and peepers where and said "could ya even spare the meat?? well the girl who actually made the sub started pawing it over and pulling up the 2 slices o meat with her fingers to show me she put a WEE bit of oil on the bread and i could barely see the wee bits of red from the hot peppers..then she took her fingers and put it back togetrher after showing me she put it on and handed me back my "BREAD" sub..she says..i made it myself! i told her it was the WORST i ever had and who ever taught her ..if anyone...theydid a piss poor job! she didn't even try to amend my complaints about the sub...by maybe...oooh adding some meat, olives onions, provalone...the usual things in an italian! not to mention her pawing it all over and handing back to me!! i paid good money for a giant piece of bread with lettuce! with a zillion pizza joints in this town..the competion is great...you'd think they would go out of thier way to beat the "other" guys...i have had a career in cooking in my younger years, and i would never have sent something like that out to begin with and i would have done what was in my power to satisfy the customer, to be the best! i didn
t even want to give them 1 star but i had to fill it in! such a sad state we live in with shite choices for restuarants!
