Had lunch there yesterday. Felt very safe. Excellent service!! And my friend and I both had the Angus Beef burger. Cooked to perfection!!! I definitely will go back. Gave it 5 stars!!!

Our family had a very good outing the other day when we stopped by Back Bay Gourmet for lunch. We have had quite a few of our friends telling us about this place so we decided to stop in after shopping one day. The place has quite an appeal to it. They offer all sorts of baked goods, ready made gourmet meals, plus other items and their food is outstanding. We picked up a couple of their signature sandwiches with soup - very good. I'll bring our kids in sometime, maybe try out their brunch menu. A very good place to eat.

I stopped in here this afternoon and I tried out there Special Sandwich of the Day. It was a sourdough sandwich with grilled chicken chopped up with red onions, apples, cheese and one of their sauces.
It was pretty damn good. I hope they bring that one back, again, or at least consider adding it to their menu. I may try to make it at home.
Lunch was busy but service was good - no complaints. They took care of me.

We had the best meal here the other night. The place is very low key, a nice soft atmosphere to it. I have to say I haven't enjoyed a little quite dinner like this in a long time. The food was just outstanding. They made a special for the evening. It was pulled pork with a mango BBQ sauce, rice, etc...and it was delicious. We will be back to try some of the lunch or brunch items listed. Thank you for a nice evening out. Katie
