I had dinner for the first time Friday night because I had a coupon from the Attractions book. The food was amazing and the server Kim was great. I read about the Sunday Brunch while I was there and decicded to give it a try to see how it compared to dinner because it was only $ 12.99. Let me tell you for $ 12.99, I definately got my money's worth. The waitress was awesome. Her name was Linda and she was very personable and made us feel very welcome. We even got to meet both owners, Dave and the chef Wayne House. The food was as delicious as it was on Friday. My husband and I have definately found a new favorite place in Wilmington

My wife and I had a "date night" last night and had a wonderful dinner at Well Seasoned. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding!! The menu had much to offer and they also had a great variety of specials.

I started with a cup of their Manhattan Clam Chowder and we each had the Stuffed Sea Bass (stuffed with crab, shrimp, and spinach) that was in a puffed pastry. It was really terrific.

We have also been to Well Seasoned for their Sunday Brunch. The food was great and quite a variety of different items to satisfy just about anyone. At 12.99 for an Adult it is also a much better deal than Boca Bay's. Don't get me wrong, Boca also has a nice brunch but it is double the price and is not twice as good.

I really think that the review that was done on June 6 must have been done by someone having a bad day. Perhaps they are from an over pampered lifestyle and are impossible to please. My wife and I also consider ourselves "foodies". I also do quite a bit of cooking myself so I know good food when I taste it. Try Well Seasoned and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed (unless of course you hang with "June 6" and the like.

Whoever the person who wrote the review on June 6Th must just be a very negative person who was looking for something bad to say about this place. I certainly hope no one judges it based upon what was said in that review because if you read all the others it will let you know the truth. This person sounds like he/she is trying to give this restaurant a bad name and for what reason I don't know but can certainly guess. The food is fantastic, the service outstanding and the prices very reasonable. If you want a good meal with good service in a cozy and clean atmosphere, stop by this restaurant. I guarantee you won't be sorry.

I just read the June 6th review and can tell you that they are mistaken!! Well Seasoned is my favorite restaurant. I have been to every brunch and they all have delicious!! If the reviewer has a problem with the logo then they must have it out for this restaurant for some reason and are making things up. If they don't like the restaurant and the logo then don't go. Brunch is absolutely outstanding...everyone should try it!!!!

My experience at today's Buffet was fabulous! The food was delicious!!!! The baked chicken, roasted turkey and seafood chowder were to die for. Everything was hot and fresh. My son enjoyed the sundae bar. I will back next week.

Well, today was just not a good "going out to eat day", overall. It was 1pm on a Sunday and we were hungry for "breakfast". We've seen the sign on the way home announcing "Brunch - $12.99. What the heck... why not?!? We ventured out of our normal Sunday trip to the Dixie Grille and decided to give it a try.

We were greeted, asked for a booth and were led into the quiet dining room. Only 2 other tables were occupied. We waited a full 4 minutes before anyone greeted us and asked us what we wanted to drink. Two Bloody Mary's, please! OK, not the best but not the worst we've had. Whatever. Onto the food...

So, a breakfast buffet... how hard can this be?!? Sounds pretty simple, no? I guess not... We're still in disbelief at this experience...

We walked up to the "omelet station", which consisted of two hot-plates with the ingredients, not chilled, splayed out in front of us. After being greeted by the omelet cookers (not chefs by any means...), one of them dropped one of the omelet pans on the floor... AND PICKED IT UP AND PUT IT BACK ON THE BURNER!!! WITHOUT WASHING IT!!! She promptly made a huge deal out of getting some small droplets of grease on her hand, and put my girlfriend's desired ingredients into the UNWASHED omelet pan. UNREAL!

We waited until that omelet was cooked before being asked about what I wanted. He was nice enough to tell us that he'd bring it to us. Oh, how nice. What a great guy! Whatev...

So, onto the rest of the "selection"... there was something odd looking about the sausage and bacon... in fact, it all looked a little "old" or something... couldn't put our finger on it. We chose what we wanted and made our way back to the booth. And took a bite of the sausage. OMG. I can't even believe that I'm writing this... it was ROTTEN!!! Yes, you read that right... putrid. Foul. OK, maybe it was just that bite. But on BOTH of our plates? The bacon also tasted "off"... the omelets... as feared, were also "foul" or "rotten" tasting. Don't ask me about the rest 'cause we weren't going to risk any further ingestion of food here. We did poke around the plates a little, just to "test" everything out... it was all COLD. Upon looking back at the buffet, there was no flame under ANY of the warming trays! The food was all just sitting there... in the open... without being kept at the correct temperature! WOW! HEALTH INSPECTOR - get to WORK!!!

We are self-admitted "foodies". We have eaten in just about every restaurant in town. Expensive and not so expensive. We've had good service and bad service. We've had good meals and bad. BUT THIS?!? It was time to leave. We stood up, told the manager that we were leaving and his first reaction was to apologize, and kindly tell us that he'd "take care of it"... that he'd "talk to the chef"... OK. Chef. Whatever.

It's a shame... the place is close to where we live and convenient on the way home. It would have been a great thing to have a "neighborhood" restaurant that was worth anything. This doesn't deserve the ONE STAR that we gave it.

Today, June 6, 2010, was the last time we'll darken the doorway at Well Seasoned. Oh, and your logo is horrible, too. Such a pretty building and good location... there was SO much promise. All for not. STAY AWAY!
