This is an old restaurant with new owners in 2012. They've done a great job cleaning it up but not ruining the ambience of the past. I had a vegetable frittata that was the best I've had in Wilmington... beautiful eggs and fresh vegetables. Great service. Can't wait to go for dinner!

worse than terrible. this "restaurant" doesn't deserve any stars and should be shut down for good. the worst service, food, and drink that i have ever had the misfortune to experience. what a waste of money and to come home and be sick from the food only adds to my disgust for such an establishment.

We ate at this restaurant on June 21, 2009. I know this is a really old restaurant, but it really could use a deep cleaning. As soon as we walked in, the smell was overwhelming to our senses and not in a good way. The restaurant actually stunk inside. It didn't smell of good seafood. We ordered water with our meal and if you like the taste of sulfur, then go for it. I ordered something else to drink. When my meal arrived, the fries were barely warm, the coleslaw wasn't very good, but the sandwich tasted okay. The placemats that they use are made of foam with holes in it, and it doesn't appear to me that they wash them or sanitize them as food was stuck in the holes. Your silverware is placed directly on the placemat. The restaurant seemed to get a lot of business and must be loved by locals. This restaurant was recommended by a local, so we decided to give it a try. Sad to say that it will be our last.

I love this place. We live in Raliegh, and go there everytime we go to Wilmington. Great value and great food.

This is my favorite restraunt & bar in Wilmington great atmosphere, pirate & fishing nautical theme, nice people. If you go to Wilmington you have to go to Neptune's - To not would be like going to Key West & not going to Sloppy Joe's.

The worst meal I have had in Wilmington. The shrimp was not de-veined, the meal was luke warm. I could not finish my meal. I spoke to the waitress and it did not feel as if they cared. The atmosphere was okay. The service also left a lot to be desired. I honestly regreted our decision to try the place. There are many dining places in Wilmington that offer excellent service and food. I would not recommend this place.
