Go for the coffee, stay for the food and come back for the people!

Good Coffee.... good food..... Owner Joshua Woolgar is very warming and nice. Other female owner very RUDE and never seems happy.

Amazing atmosphere. Great crowd of "regulars" that, if you're the type to want to, will talk with you... get to know you... and you will leave looking forward to coming back.

Witnessed many get the, "See you tomorrow" phrase from the owner Juan. Such friendly people.

Definately a must check out Cafe in town. I'm no coffee drinker, but I hear it's got good coffee, too! Various people come in - some from local businesses, some from the high school and Cafe Fear. Sit and read the paper, or a magazine at the community table... you'll get to know all types of people.

Glad I got to experience it. Thought I should clear up the stigma for people. New owners really made a change - it's awesome!

I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten here at lunch, the medianoche. Not exactly like the Cuban version, but even more delicious in my mind.

I really enjoyed a Cold Chai late at this cute little Café. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.
Great place to visit on the weekends, great regulars crowd comes by.
Folks Café is a gem in the making!!

Hello,
We are Tammy and Juan Pacini. We took over Folks cafe about 8 months ago. While we are still organic and fair trade, we have made many changes to the business, including an expanded menu, better service and friendly staff. Please stop by and try any of our great menu options.

I feel that the store would be better if the music was at a volume I could hear. I would also like the food better if it was made from better ingredintes. The coffee is great!!! The staff truely does a wounderful job.

The service is completely random and so is the food. This is the closest coffee house to me and everytime I go, when I leave, I swear I'll never go back. Their staff is totally hit or miss. a Panini with 3 cheeses & red peppers, and the cheese isn't melted? Screwed up simple orders? Waiting half an hour for an untoasted bagel?? and they don't all seem to be happy to have a job! The coffee's okay and the owners are nice, but if the owner's not at the store? Don't go!

There's nothing flashy about Folk's Cafe. Simply put, they have the best coffee in town and their fresh baked muffins (and cinnamon buns) put the competition to shame.
Be sure to try the Folk's Mocha, a delicious hot drink enhanced with subtle spice to bring out the richness of the mocha.

Great sandwiches, wide variety of bottled drinks. Strong coffee, too!
