Small sandwich shop that focuses on quality customer service and ingredients. I have had many reubens in my life and this is the best. No close second.

To anyone who lived in Wilmington in the 90's and early 2000's, this is the rebirth of Priddy Boy's sandwich shop!
Same grilled sandwiches, same concept. Sadly not the 1995 prices, a lil high priced, $12 for a chicken salad sandwich, potato salad and a drink! Still, it was worth it for the nostalgic taste.

The employee who rang me up was a male who seemed out, as if he was hi on drugs, not to mention he was very rude, overall food was lackluster for $8 a sandwich. Would not recommend

Had a hair In my food, had to wait for 20 minutes for my sandwich and was not pleased with service. Overall it was a poor experience.

I had the Market Street Deli and at first I thought I'd never eat all of this sandwich which was piled high with a lot of fresh shredded lettuce. I did! It was delicious! The homemade chips were the best I've ever had. I thought they would be soggy once I got where I was going but I was pleasantly surprised they were still crisp. A bit over priced and the wait was long even with a bunch of people seeming to be working but I will eat here again. Only complaints, is I asked for 'no tomato' and it was on there, even said it on the receipt and an extra charge for a pickle? Come on, guys! You're making money.

I was introduced to south college deli around 5yrs ago...and I am soo happy I was. I come to wilmington ab 8 to 10 times a year and I make it a "have to stop there!" everytime for lunch deal. I just chatted with the manager today and we talked ab making tshirts...I told her ive always wanted one...so we might be in luck soon to getting some...and that makes me super excited, and happy that they reach out and chat with their customers. BEST deli in wilmy for sure! Such a sweet environment as well!!

After eating true "fish and chips" in England, I never thought I'd find fish that good again. And sadly for 30 years we did not, until we found South College Sandwich and Deli. Hot, fresh, moist, tasty, never over or under cooked, it has been consistently delicious whenever we come to eat. Their homemade dried tomato bread is so good, and unique. We have had a delightful meal every time we come.

Best place for a sandwich in Wilmington. My husband and I usually split the club and homemade chips. More than enough food for 2! Extra friendly staff and great food!

I am from the Buffalo area and when I say this is the BEST Beef on Weck that I have even had in my 50 years on this planet, I am not exagerating. The beef melts in your mouth, the au jus is beefy and not oily or salty, and the roll is axactly what a kummelweck roll should be.
This is my favorite place to eat in Wilmington ... kudos to a wonderful little sandwich shop!

I ate here today for lunch. I think this place is way over priced. I got one sandwich, chips and a drink the total was $12.59. When I received my sandwich it was so soggy that I could not even eat half of it. I do have to say the chips were great. I will not eat here again because I cannot afford a $13 lunch so I will stick to the $4.50 lunch specials next door at Plaza mariachi

I'm originally from Buffalo, NY ....the "home of beef on weck". South College Sandwich makes the best beef on weck I have ever had! My wife agrees.
We have been thinking of moving to Wilmington from Chapel Hill ....now we know for sure we will! Great place to eat. Their other food is also top of the line!

Absolutely fantastic! Every time we eat there we get FANTASTIC service, and even better food! Anything I've tried off the menu has surpassed all expectations. Wouldn't change a thing about this place! I wish they had more locations around ILM!

The food is excellent and so is the service! The portions are huge and definitely worth the price! It's funny because I walked by the place soooo many times before I decided to give it a try and now I'm hooked! Also, i know there's been great reviews on the sandwiches and chips but the potato salad and coleslaw is great as well!

Awesome surprise...
I am from NY and it is hard to find haddock here in NC-it was great! But what was also a real treat was the amazing homemade chips,potato salad,& the offer to bring us some of their homemade bread to try-which was fabulous-which you can buy a whole loaf every Friday! My haddock was great, my husband had the club sandwich which was huge. Then we were given cookies to top off our meal. The service was by far the best I have ever received since moving down here. It was all we talked about-it was part of my birthday-yes haddock means that much to a former Syracusan! Thank you, we will definitely be back and tell our friends and family! You rock South College Sand. & Deli ! :o)

The food is outstanding. I live 4 hours away and only get to eat here a few times a year, but I would almost drive the 4 hours just to eat here. The sandwiches are huge and prices are reasonable, especially when you take into account the sheer size of the sandwiches.

You won't believe the quality and size of the sandwiches served at South College S & D. The food is delicious, fresh and well-prepared. The owners (from Buffalo, NY) are friendly and accommodating, and the staff seems well-trained.
