I frequent a locally owned and operated ice cream shop with kind and patient staff. The ice cream is delicious, especially the unique flavors like lemongrass basil and raspberry lemonade, and the waffle cones are made from scratch. Despite their seasonal closing, I always make the drive to enjoy their offerings during their brief opening before Christmas and on special occasions like Father's Day and Friday Family Fun Night.

We don't live in the area and make a "pilgrimage" to King Kone about two times a summer. Personally, when a person comes from farther away, it would be nice if we got a break in the price???
