My husband & I had been eating Steve's place in Mequon for years. So delighted to read Steve & Cindy opened a new place. We arrived at 6:15 PM. Place was ever so busy. We were seated right away. We heard people around us comment how good every thing was. Steve did come out later and greeted every one. Our Server was Michelle was super. What we liked each server helped each other. Other server was Sara. We will go back and take our friends. It was wonderful. Carol & Jesse from Mequon.

Just wanted everyone to know the Alpine Retreat opened again in late March, 2012. The new owners are Steve and Cindy Petrie, former owners of the Alpine Village in Mequon. Please stop by to try our new menu, including steaks, seafood, ribs,German entrees, and much more. We also have an amazing fish fry!
