SPORADICALLY GOOD AND NO MORE. At the end of the day, this is a decent restaurant with"usually" good food. However it suffers greatly from (I think) a flawed business model demonstrated by long waits and poorly prepared food on busy nights. I shudder to think if the former issue is intentional just to get you to buy more liquor from the bar? At times, it appears young, mentally oversubscribed teenagers are running the show in getting people seated; I've witnessed several couples/groups scratching their heads after waiting over an hour - somethimes being completely forgotten! Last point: you can certainly go to several other establishments in that 10 mile radius and get as good or better food (and service) for same or less money.

Had to wait over an hour and a half. Pri!me rib was mostly fat and tasteless. Knives were dull and couldn't cut my steak. Everything was bland.
Had to deal with screaming drunks at the next table. Horrible
Experience. First and last time. Ruined my birthday supper.

I wrote a review in 2014 and said I would never return due to the forced wait in the bar. However since the new ownership this has changed. We always get there early and now can be seated immediately. Food is as good or better than before. Shrimp appetizers and after dinner drinks are to die for.

ABSOLUTELY BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! MOST BLAND ,UNDER & OVERCOOKED ,OVER PRICED FOOD IN 35 YEARS & THOUSANDS OF RESTAURANTS MY FAMILY & I HAVE WENT TO! MY DAUGHTER'S 17TH BIRTHDAY WE EACH TOOK A BITE OF THIS SO CALLED "MEAL" TO BE UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED. WE TOLD OUR WAITRESS WE APOLOGIZED BUT WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE $80 "MEAL" THAT SAT IN FRONT OF US(FOR ALL OF 5 MINS). I EXPLAINED THAT I WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY FOR OUR SALAD & DRINKS (WE BARELY TOUCHED) & LEAVE HER A TIP BUT THAT WE HAD DECIDED TO GO ELSEWHERE & ATTEMPT TO ENJOY MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY DINNER. SHE TOLD ME SHE'D BRING THE BILL! ! I SAID I'M SORRY BUT I'M NOT PAYING FOR FOOD WE DID NOT CONSUME! SHE SAID I'LL GET THE "OWNER" BUT NEVER DID SEE THIS SO CALLED OWNER OF THIS SO CALLED #1 RATED RESTAURANT , HOWEVER WERE TOLD THE OWNER WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO ORDER SUCH A"MEAL" & THEN NOT PAY FOR IT!!!!!! NO APOLOGY NO DISCOUNT, JUST OH WELL WE'VE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE HERE'S YOUR $80 BILL FOR 2 PEOPLE .... WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO "RUN"A BUSINESS! AND SPEND MY HARD EARNED $ ON MY BABIES BIRTHDAY! ! NEEDLESS TO SAY NONE OF MY FAMILY NOR FRIENDS WILL EVER GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER PENNY OR MINUTE OF OUR TIME SMDH! JUST SAD TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!!!

A great place to go and have a drink or two before dinner. All patrons are first seated at the bar where drinks good and iced shrimp is sold 6 lg for $5. A friendly waiter takes your order at the bar and off you go into the dining room for one of many fine meat-entre selections. Not much here for the veggie-minded but great for the carnivore!

Waited almost 2 hours to be seated. We're told it would be a short wait when we arrived and only place to sit was bar. Many open tables as we waited, never saw the dining room fill up. Ploy to get you to spend money at the bar(s). Will NEVER return. Too bad because the food is always very good.
