Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a draft beer and sandwich with fries, noting the good food and service but feeling uncomfortable with the political decor, leading to a decision not to return; the restaurant, now West Ave Tavern, retains much of the old charm and menu, offering excellent food and service in a casual setting suitable for families or sports fans.
