APPALLING! Have been to this establishment multiple times since it opened. At first it was great. But then has gone steadily down hill. We've occasionally dined in the restaurant where it was good. But typically order take out...and every time we've said we're done with the junk. But Scottsboro doesn't have a lot to order so as time goes by we'll order again...and be disappointed again...
Tonight was it. We ordered take out and were there to pick it up. So it was "fresh" when we opened it at home. Not. The meatball on the kids spaghetti was hard, cold, and stale. Disgusting. Waste of money. The $6 caeser salad was the size of a $3 takeout salad. And made with romaine...which is currently on recall because of the nation wide e. coli issue. Waste of money. Veal marsala was the straw that broke the camel's back. Veal had the appearance of chicken pounded thin but did taste like veal...which had been cooked in the microwave. I tried to eat it because I was starving. But was truly awful. I threw 3/4 of it away. Waste. Of. Money.
From people who used to love the place (5 years ago?) - we'll never go there again. Or recommend it to others in town or passing through.
