Thanks for comments all. Interestingly, the sandwich bread has never been baked in house , the rye bread is exactly the same brand used in 2002 the Tom terrific bread was cancelled by distributor. The "new" owners have been here for 11 years & are always willing to correct any unhappy dining e periences
As far as dirty kitchen, plus ask Talladega Health Dept. they eat there frequently!

I recently moved to Talladega, AL. By far, this is my FAVORITE LUNCH SPOT! The quaint location in the historic Downtown Square is quite pleasant. The decor is full of eclectic junk! (Love the unique collection of salt and pepper shakers!) The staff is always willing to please and without fail, every dish I've ordered has been fresh and delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The fruit salad, chicken salad, shrimp salad and congealed salad are awesome!

I have eaten here many times in the last 9 years and it is always good!!! I have gotten to go & also eaten in. I wish I could duplicate their "chicken salad plate" which has a scoop of chicken salad, a tropical fruit salad and another congealed salad. The "tom terrific" and other club sandwiches have suffered since they no longer use the bakery bread-they switched to store-bought and it makes the sandwiches soggy, but other than that, it's GREAT!!!
