I loved Smokey’s it breaks my heart to see THE BEST bbq spot I’ve been to in hsv close . Every chance I had to gloat about the okra , to the bbq , to the generous portions !!! All around great spot , the options were broad & I can’t believe there closed .

We have been visiting Smokey's for the past 5 years----only 3 miles from home
Never a problem with food quality or quantity. Staff always pleasant and efficient.
Best cornbread in town

Derrick was very friendly and helpful! My daughter is allergic to many different food groups and Derrick offered to make special versions of all the things he catered JUST FOR HER! Even the allergy-free versions were wonderful! Thanks Derrick!

Suggestion:when your drive-through speaker is out for a week, get the order, have the customer park, and take next order.....20 minutes waits are annoying. Also order taker at window needs to get rid of phone and texting! while I was there for 15 minutes waiting for food, that's all she did.Dont you want your business to be as good as possible? Maybe having someone there at all times, over the age of 18, would help.

to the owner of smokeys ,72 madison,yesterday 8-26-09 at 17:02 ,my and i went thru drive thruand we orderd 2 plates ,one a large bbq rib plate and one with half chicken,one banana pudding , we go to the window and i paid for our food with my debit card,20.41 waited 13 min. to almost get my food, the red head cubby girl at window was trying to put our food in a bag when i black hair girl with a barb. in her tongue started jumping on the red heads back and they dropped our food, they parked us then and remake our plates.said will give free desert for the wait,got home no half chicken plate ,we got the rib plate and they gave me a baked potatoe and slaw which i dont eat either. the girls were horse playing and destoryed our food ,i ask the girl with black hair and barb. in tongue if they just picked it off the floor, she said i had to pay for the lost food and she had to jump on red head every now and then, horse play in my work place will get you dismissed. i called the red head on 8-27-09 at 1:30 afternoon and told her, she didn"t wont to make it right, i have my receipt to show proof of my visit to work place of business. i thought you should no the the girls are not good employes to fight and wrestle on the job and to destroy the product you are trying to sell , thanks for your time, robert bishop 830-0984,call me if needed.

While trying to find a BBQ restaurant to cater my Memorial Day cook out, I tried several places. Being new to the area I had not eaten in any of these places prior to my search. Smokey's was last on my list. And I must say that I saved the best for last. The food was outstanding. The ribs were so tender they were falling off the bones and the potato salad was like grandma used to make. Derrick was an awesome guy to work with. He delivered everything that I ordered exactly how I ordered it and exactly the time that I wanted it. Thank you Derrick you made my Memorial Day Celebration a huge hit and my guest are asking when are we going to do it again.
