They have (happily) ruined me forever! Now I will have to drive 95-100 miles just to eat a fabulous catfish dinner like no other! And know what?... I would drive the same distance for the hush puppies, or the po boys... I mean it folks, I've eaten a lot of catfish in my 70 years, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, compares to the meals these people have put in front of meandy wife!.

I visit the Albertville area once a year and always make a point to eat at Catfish Cabin at least once, mostly twice during the week. This year I was very disappointed in my meal. I ordered the whole catfish (3) and they were cooked way to done. You could hardly get the meat off the bone. The baked potato was cooked well but had little heat left in it, hardly enough heat to melt the butter I put on it. I visited one more time before I left for home, thought the first one may have been just a bad night, but the second meal was basically the same as the first. I'm afraid the restaurant is heading down hill just like most that have enjoyed success for a long time.

I would love to give you 10 stars but the changes you have made in the way you serve the coleslaw and the taste is not the same and the hush puppies are not the same or size as in years gone by...I have been coming to your restaurant for over 40 years and have brought family and guest from over 5 states......myself and all the people I have brought there love the other way....I'm glad that you are still in business cause the best meals I have eaten has come from there.....Just had to share my comment......thank you

The service was good the food was awful. There were four in our party the oysters were way over cooked and the shrimp obviously had been sitting for a long length of time and were soaky and mealy.
All the food taste the same obviously had been fried in old grease. Our bill came to $73 when paying told assistant manager the food was really not good that she might want to make her kitchen supervisor aware of the quality of food leaving their kitchen, she could have cared less. Basically her comment was sorry about your bad luck. Should have gotten the clue by the amount of cars in the parking lot of which we counted seven on a Sunday afternoon at 5pm, beware save your money and indigestion. AWFUL
