I've been going here since I was a child. You could get whole wiener or half wiener hotdogs. We always get half wiener for old times sake. The half wiener from what I understand came about during the depression and it was cheaper than the whole one so more could buy them. I have never tasted better.

You MUST try a scrambled dog! There is a guy there that makes them the very best! The scrambled dog is smothered in homemade chili, I order it with extra onions, slaw, and NO oyster crackers! Of course a few dill pickle slices! It is served in a white rectangle ceramic boat. I always ask for a spoon to get every bit of this goodness! It is truly absolute palate heaven! Hidden Grill has the BEST SCRAMBLED DOG AS ROUND THIS WHOLE AREA! YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF CRAVING THIS DELIGHTFUL DISH! I WISH THEY WERE OPEN RIGHT NOW!

Wonderful place. Very nostalgic. This restaurant has been around since the 1950's I believe. We love the burgers, so good. Handmade by the cook there - who is an awesome person by the way. If you grew up in Phenix City then you know and love the Hidden Grill.
