I visited the bar on the 4th of July around 11PM and found it to be pleasantly uncrowded, possibly due to the limited population in Nome and the numerous options along Front St. Our bartender, Rose, was both entertaining and humorous, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. I tried a few shots just for fun and even received $2 in change. The bar offers a good variety of spirits and draft beers in a charming, historic building, giving off a nostalgic vibe. The mix of locals and fishermen created a relaxed and engaging environment where stories were shared and conversations flowed easily. I definitely recommend a return visit for another laid-back and entertaining experience.
