This place is on it's way out! Over priced, lousy service, no beer or wine, no clean silverware, creepy atmosphere. Have you ever seen an $18.00 hamburger on a menu before?
It kills me to see restaurants struggle and fail, this one deserves to tank for many reasons, the outrageous prices is the biggest reason. The menu prices do not compare to anything in any restaurant from the West coast to the East coast high and low, it's off the charts! I almost want to have a sit down discussion with the owner and ask what they are thinking with such a horrendous mess of a operation they have going. Again, it's such a disappointment to see good potential restaurants with so many flaws.

Made the drive to Seward from Anchorage and chose this place at random. What a mistake. Our daughter was in town visiting and we wanted to have a nice Alaska seafood meal. $110 later, what we went away with was a meal that was so-so at best, but certainly nothing as special as the price indicated. The portions looked more like appetizers than main dishes, VERY small. They don't offer beer, wine or cocktails you'd expect at a "fine dining" restaurant. They only bring bread "on request," but don't tell you that. I guess they hope you won't ask. They're so sparing with what they serve, you get the impression they're about to go under. The final insult: the waiter stood at the table while my husband signed the check so he could "verify the signature" against the credit card. All I can say is, wow. Very classy. We don't intend to ever go back, but in reality, I don't think they'll be in business much longer.
