Let me start off by saying.....I've worked in restaurants forever and I'm well aware that things can happen. I'm usually the one to defend servers to others as I know how tough the job can be. I NEVER in my life have been treated with more disrespect then I was at OBistro by someone who I believe to be the owner. We were 8 minutes late for our reservation (parking issues) and in that time, they gave away our table. As we were walking in they let another party sit at our table. We waited for the owner to work out what should be done and she brushed us off...essentially telling us we were 20 minutes late (although our cells, the wall clock and her computer all said 7:12 at that time) and that we were out of luck. It was uncomfortable for both us and the table that sat down. After making a half assed attempt to find another table for us-we decided to take our business elsewhere. At that point I informed her politely that we were displeased, I thought it was handled inappropriately and that I would be writing a review of the experience online. She then asked me...while laughing in my face...if I was threatening her. I was floored. Needless to say-I will be writing a number of reviews. The classless way things were dealt with was appalling. There are a number of fabulous establishments to eat at the the valley-spend your money somewhere where you will be appreciated.
