Major's is and always has been one of the best restaurants in Grande Prairie. Major's and The Golden Star are my favorites and I eat at these ones often. Excellent food. Major's is home style cooking at the very best! Great prices too! When I think of Major's Family Restaurant, my mouth literally starts to water! LOL!

I love love love this restaurant have never had bad service the staff is so friendly. Love the homemade meals and especially the homemade bread. It's a real taste of home which is nice for the truckers who are away working and they can go there and get a like home meal not boxed crap that is heated by other restaraunts. Kudos Majors for keeping it real.

Years ago (7) when I first moved here ppl told me Majors had good meals and prices, that was seven years ago, since they moved to the old pizza hut building their food and service has hit rock bottom. Incident number 1. called ahead and ordered food, when I arrived it wasn't ready, ended up waiting 15 minutes, when I spoke of it the waitress she tells me were busy, nowhere did it say the service was only available when they weren't busy.
Incident number 2. ordered 2 Salisbury steak dinners as a skip the dishes order, when they packaged the food it was upright in the bag but not on the bottom of the bag, but on the bag's side, naturally, the delivery guy picked the bag up by the top, when I get the food its a mess, all spilled inside the container.
Incident number 3. My roommate order meat-lovers pizza as a birthday supper for me, they advertise it has 7 meats, when we get the pizza the crust is burnt, also there is primarily 2 meats, pepperoni and ham with the od sprinkle of overcooked bacon which I suspect was leftover from the breakfast menu, perhaps the worse pizza I have had in my 65 years of been on this planet, that's the last time ill be getting food from there.
