We were here for the second time for our 34th wedding anniversary, and both times, our steaks were incredible. The steak melts like butter in your mouth, so tender and flavorful. I think this year was so much better because it was still light outside (mid-October), and we got to see the views of the rolling hills and the Rockies. You cannot beat that view.
The staff is attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk into the moment you walk out the door. They are always topping up drinks and making sure things are to your liking.
It is pricey, but it's well worth it, and we can't wait till we go again next year.

We have eaten at Longview Steakhouse three times and each time has been outstanding. The food combinations, the steaks are without a doubt, the best setting the standard by which every other steakhouse is measured. All the staff treat us and everyone around us like VIP's each time we visit. We haven't had the pleasure of enjoying the view as we live 4 hours away from the restaurant and when we arrive, it's always dark. But, the drive is worth it. We've been to Ruth's Chris, Taste of Texas, Hy's, Gotham and many other fine steakhouses and Longview Steakhouse stands head and shoulders above them all in taste, quality, customer service and value. The wait is months in advance but well worth it. When Conde Nast says one of the top 15 steakhouses on the Planet, they are not wrong. We would put them in the top 3. Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I were fortunate to get there for the first time about 3 weeks ago. What an amazing dining experience. Attentive, courteous waiter who never let our glass get empty, great ambience (what a view) and simply the best steak I've ever had. Karim can cook. We also enjoyed a bottle of vino that my wife and I brought from home and were able to drink for a small corkage fee. Can't wait to return in two months. Whatever you have heard about this unassuming place on the side of the hill in Longview, it's a dining experience that shouldn't be missed.

Our last dinner was expensive with little to accompany our steak. A pathetically minuscule serving of vegetables. The 4 bacon wrapped fillets had every appearance of being pre-prepared as if they came off a food truck. There was little or no regard for Covid protocols. We were told, ‘we don’t wear masks hereâ€. There was no attempt to physically distance customers. It was, as always, too loud.

We have eaten here many times and thoroughly enjoy the experience. The steaks are the best we have ever had, the soup is home made and delicious and the staff of this family run business are attentive and very friendly. The quality is consistently excellent and we are always excited to go back.

We enjoyed dinner at the Longview Steak House on Thursday evening compliments of Dr.Justin Comfort of Okotoks Dental and we have never had a better meal in Canada, USA or Mexico.. Thank you so much Dr. Comfort.

The house salad was good as well as home make bread.
I hate to be negative but I found this restaurant very expensive for the quality.
I had a chicken paste, not much flavour, chicken was overcooked and mushrooms were canned? Presentation was lovely.
My friend had steak and said it was just ok, didn't say why.
The view was nice. Very disappointed.
