From the perspective of an ex employee ...

I was the only returning waitress once we reopened in June. Not even the manager actually returned. I was left in the bar to do everything on my own, including manager duties.
I had to put up with and be abused and threatened by 2 patrons on a couple occasions and was told by the manager that I had to treat them with respect.
After being told by the manager, that I was not manager material, and that apparently I was the one making the bar look like a bad place and making it so people didn't want to be there, and that she was putting all employees back on a 3 month probation period, I quit.
I loved my job and I earned the respect of my customers and befriended a lot of them, I will miss the daily chats with them, but I definitely do not deserve to be bullied by the management that hasn't even been around to help.
