The family-owned grocery and take-out cafe I visited had an impressive selection of Mediterranean food items and a warm atmosphere. The cafeteria-style food was authentic and flavorful, especially the shawarma platter I enjoyed, which was a generous portion for the price. I appreciated the convenience of being able to purchase falafel by the piece to complement my meal, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their offerings.

We have been going to Cafe Istanbul for years and years. It has been a pleasure to watch the 6 daughter grow and become fine young women. A great family who adds to the cultural richness of our community. That AND yummy food and a wonderfully eclectic grocery store. We chose Cafe Istanbul for our 35th wedding anniversary dinner. Nick and his wife thought we we totally nuts- but will do again for the upcoming 40th.

Been there many times and it is friendly, inexpensive and the food is wonderful. Great little grocery on top of the food.
