We had reserved a table. We have been there numerous times, but I have to say this time was HORRIBLE. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside our outside, we requested the lower patio and was told that they had a table on the upper patio even thought there were many table empty downstairs. Upon being sat at a table in front of the bar, the air from the hvac vents continued to blow in our face. Not to mention the table and surrounding areas were beyond dirty, there was no cleaning whatsoever. We had requested to sit in another location and was told there was no other tables available even though we mentioned the tables below. We had to ask numerous times to have our table cleaned. We finally ordered after receiving menus, which looked like they came straight out of the garbage, (they were beyond dirty). After ordering not only did the service take forever, (30 minutes to get a drink, and another 30 minutes to have our food order taken). While trying to enjoy the best of a bad situation, we noticed that other folks had left and yet no cleaning of tables or surrounding, we were shocked that given the COVID situation, there was no respect to wiping tables down after folks left. Finally, after receiving drinks we tried to enjoy, given the air blowing in our face and yes, the table next to us blowing their cigar smoke toward our table. Finally after ordering our food the presentation was nice and the food was not what we expected, some of the food was cold, thought we attempted to get the attention of a server or staff, they pretty much ignored us or there was no one around, they kept what seemed to be walking around looking busy, after finishing half our food, we finally got the attention of our server to only ask for our check, after near 2 hours or blowing air in our face and the cigar smoke from the table next to us, we were done. We have gone for happy hour and dinner many times previously and this experience was the tipping point. While we understand that they might been understaffed, they should not compromise the cleanliness of their restaurant, given the heighten alert of COVID. We will not suggest his restaurant to anyone. The management and ownership should honestly take some pride in their establishment and invest in cleaning the space up.
