The staff welcomed us warmly as soon as we walked in, making us feel right at home. I enjoyed the carnitas tacos, which were perfectly seasoned and utterly delicious, while my boyfriend loved his carne asada tacos. With fast service, a cozy atmosphere, and authentic flavors, this restaurant quickly became my family's favorite in Anchorage.

I have here many times, and find it to be quite good. I have tried most everything and never been disappointed. Be sure to inquire about what days they have the roast pig.

I am a big fan of El Tango Restaurant. Everything I have tried there has been great. They have one of the best prime ribs that I have tasted. The service was a little slow at first, but I have noticed that they are much faster at getting the food out now. I would and have many times reccomended them. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I ordered a shredded beef dish which they did not have. The waiter highly recommended a barbecued veal dish as an alternative. What arrived on my plate was a slab of fat. There was barely enough meat in it to fill a thimble. It was simply awful. I will never eat there again -- ever!
