I love going to KBC! The cozy fireplace with two chairs is a nice touch at this location. Anchorage does have a large homeless population, but remember to be kind to them - a smile goes a long way. The espresso here is consistently the best in town, whether you prefer it straight, in a latte, mocha, or tea.
