Worse place to eat at and I've been living in Anchorage for some years now.The prices are way to high for the quality of the food,my ribs was like chewing rubber band, Mac and cheese had no kind of flavor what so ever.I will never spend my money on that place again,I wish they would bring Catfish Haven back,now that was soul food.

First time there and the last. We were the only two their and the service was incredibly slow, one worker in the whole place. Ordered two catfish platters to go. The catfish was fantastic, the fries not so (yes, I realize they are going to be a little diminished as a take-out). These seemed like yesterdays fries. One order had a roll and one had cornbread on the order. Would like to evaluate these, if they made it on the order. Coleslaw nothing to write about there. Overall depressing after reading other reviews.

i brought my friend that was visiting from texas and we ordered some sweet potatoe pie ,, the young waiter was very nice, however the Pie was not even cooked it was cold and you could taste all of the ingredients uncooked in it , the crust wasnt even done , nothing ... , and the green beans were staright out of the bag just warmed , no seasoning ... then this big greasy cook comes from the back and we both lost our appetite ... the best thing about this place that day was the waiter!!! i do believe the owner was out on a family emergency out of state ... he should have just closed the doors for a week instead of letting those guys run it .. i wished i could get my 52 dollars back . instead i will not go there again , i have been reduced to cooking my own ( soul Food) ..

Most amazing "down home cooking" ..... The staff are amazing and the food is awesome..... Plan to send everyone I know there to get some good food!!
