On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 23, my friend Ann and I, along with her 7 year old autistic grandson, stopped for lunch. It was around 2:00. As always the food was excellent but I was more than impressed with the young lady who waited on us. I do not remember her name but she was delightful and took excellent care of us, but what made it really special was the way she interacted with Ann's grandson. She talked to him and laughed with him. It was driving him crazy that only one fan was running and the others weren't. Without hesitation this young lady went and got a step ladder, climbed up and turned the fan off. What an amazingly kind thing to do. My heart was touched. Too often kind deeds go unnoticed. I just wanted to share and hopefully somehow this young lady will be recognized!
