We love Picnic Basket! Their mushroom steak hoagie is to die for. They make awesome homemade chips.

I am a resident of the White Mountains. I like to support local businesses. I have frequented more than one business owned by Johnny and Dee, and their daughter. However, after today, I will not be going back. On another note, I am not normally a complainer. Ordered today for something hot, was in the mood for chili, but would settle for soup since they are close. The bowl of soup I ordered was creamy mushroom (way too salty) and cost $5.99 ( not a problem). I also ordered a basket of their sweet potato tater tots (which I love) was $7.79!!!! more than the soup! (I think if you order it as a substitute for fries with a sandwich it costs an additional $2.00.) I called when I realized how much I had been charged, because I thought it was a mistake. My total was over $15, my friend, who ordered a sandwich with a side, was a littler over $12. No, not a mistake. I will never go back again. I am still irritated!!
