Very bad first impression. I was not in the mood for chicken...first mistake was going there "not for chicken". I ordered the fried catfish and asked if one of my two sides could be salad, and was told that I could have salad, but that it equaled two sides...I was okay with that, as I was not enormously hungry. What I received was a seriously TINY serving of iceberg lettuce with very little red cabbage and carrot shreds in it...perhaps 7-8 bites. It was unimpressive. When the catfish came, it was over-cooked and soaked in too-old oil, Ick!!! When I checked out, I was charged an additional $1.00 for making a "menu change". If not for that, I might have returned to try the chicken one day, but as I feel that I was totally taken advantage of, prefer to never give them another cent of my money.

So glad they remember us locals and stay open durning the summer months.
Don't want to think how life would be without Yuma's Best Chicken for months on end.
Been loyal customers for years and the food and people just keep getting more awesome.
You really should change it to Yuma's FINEST tChicken.

We split the small combo w chicken breast & leg - one word YUMM. But don't order the corn on the cob - it's fried! Otherwise, the chicken was juicy & not oily, rib meat was falling off the bone, tender & flavorful, coleslaw & potato wedges excellent. Don't know why we hadn't tried the place before, been passing by for over 6 years before stopping. Friendly people, pay after you eat, definitely takeout when temperatures are up - limited seating inside w covered outside seating.
