Being from Michigan and raised in North Texas, I have a deep appreciation for BBQ and am currently in the Nashville area for work. Locals suggested a certain BBQ joint, and for $10, I enjoyed a three-meat, two-sides combo plate that was truly exceptional for any meat lover. While it may not have the elegance of a fine dining establishment, the quality of the BBQ speaks for itself, and as Trish puts it, "we don't have a fancy place, just a fancy smoker.

We landed at Trish's smokehouse, being stranded in Mineral Sprangs. Being out of towners, and un certain of the local flavor, Trish's looked the most inviting. I knew i could start with Big Grab chips, and the 20oz. Bottled drink as advertised on the menu. They proved to be very refreshing and knocked the hunger edge off long enough to pray on what we would choose to dine on. One of the Grandgirls being a stupid vegan, was still accommodated with the slaw, beans. Trish was sweet enough to alter her menu to oblidge us. The Ribs and Brisket had a good smoke, and the sauce was very saucy. Overall Trish's was a God-send for us on our day of Tribulation. -Exodus 12:8-9:
