I tried Popeye's for the first time about a year ago and I was hooked since the first bite. They really do chicken very well, for a fast food place. That said, the quality has really gone downhill over the last several months. I usually eat there at least once a week and I am noticing the pieces are getting smaller and the chicken has been overcooked too often and last week it made me literally puke, the grease was so heavy. I don't know what is going on at this particular location but I am not eager to go back anymore. This is the only location near me and the only one I've ever bought from so that tells me that whatever is going wrong is with the management/staff. They just aren't turning out good chicken anymore. I'm pretty sure my Popeye days have come to an end. When it was good, it was very very good. But since it's gone bad, it's very very bad. :(
