Bad food. Worst service. Horrible management.

This is the epitome of what all restaurants should not be. Me and 5 of my friends went here on a Friday night around midnight. We were enjoying the music and lively characters dancing. One gentleman though come up to, shoves his hand in my face and says, "ever seen a black man dance!?". Very confused I say "what do you mean...?". He keeps screaming at me until one of his friends pulls him away. While all this is happening, I stand up and motion for the bouncer to intervene. The bouncer ignores me. Actually looking uncomfortable as to not know what to do. I go to the bar to let the staff know what has happened and point out that he is still staring at me and flipping me off from across the room. I let them know that he either needs to be asked to leave or my group will be leaving. I am told by one waitress, "he's on drugs..", like that should let me accept his behavior. The other goes to let the bouncer know. He walks him outside. After about 15 minutes the bouncer comes up to me and says. "he says that you started it...". Are you kidding me right now. Not only has this bouncer not done his job but he's trying to rationalize this man's behavior just like the waitress was.

I voiced my complaint on Yelp! and the owner replied with this;

I'm struggling with a place to start my reply... first off, I apologize that there was an issue with a fellow customer. As much as I wish my superpower was the ability to control other people, it just isn't. I did review the tape today and can't see where your table provoked him in any way. Once my staff was alerted, I'm glad to say that we had him removed within a few minutes. We don't tolerate that sort of ridiculous behavior and would encourage anyone to bring to us immediately so it is addressed.

Now, however, the remainder of your post is filled with assumptions and bs... #1 you don't know this man (and neither do I) so to immediately refer to him as a 'crack head' seems extremely judgmental. Especially given that you mentioned to your server that you 'didn't feel comfortable with all of THEM in here' - I'm sensing some racism. We have customers of every race, religion, sexual preference, and so on... all are welcome, so long as they behave and don't start trouble. This fella was starting trouble so he was asked to leave.
#2 I am one of the Owners and I run this place with my husband - we are in our mid 40's - so no children or drug addicts running the show. My staff ranges in age from 20's - 40's, again not children, nor drug addicts. And another very judgmental statement from someone that knows nothing about anyone here.
#3 My bouncer is positioned at the front door for majority of the night - and would have no interest in singing karaoke on the clock. He may leave to walk the floor or patio periodically, but the front door is 95% of the time where you'll find him. I saw from the video footage that your table had spoken to a fellow bouncer friend of ours for awhile, and he even sat down at the table with you. He is NOT our bouncer, and is not employed by us in any way. Perhaps this is who you might be referring to??
#4 Again, from watching the entire evening worth of video, I know that this incident happened at exactly midnight, yet your entire table stayed for the additional hour-plus we were open and never left the dance floor because you all were laughing and having a good time - I can send you that footage if you've forgotten about that part of your evening here.

It's funny that even the owner is trying to delude the actions of this man by trying to say I was racially profiling. No one in the restaurant can take responsibility for anyone actions. Please do your community a favor by not accepting this behavior. Reply back to me and I can give you a million other recommendations on where to go.
