Food and service are great

My first to Havana Haven, Powder Springs, GA was good. They had just opened and I decided to given them a try and support this new business in the P.Springs area. While they didn't have my preferred alcoholic drink on hand, the bartender, "TIFF" was more than accommodating in getting me something I really enjoyed. I ordered the black bean soup and it was delicious!
As I relished in the idea of a NEW place to hang out in this area, my second visit was quite different. I ordered a cocktail and hot wings, and it was not a good experience. The order took over 45 minutes, and when I asked to speak with the manager - he had the nerve to insinuate I was being unreasonable for questioning the delay in receiving my food. He promised that my order would be out in 10 minutes. Of course 10, 15 minutes came and went, and he didn't even apologize for the extended delay. I mean, what restaurant takes 1 hour to produce an order of wings/fries?? At that point, I decided to give Havana Haven a break (2 months).
Last night, I decided to give them one more try and this time, I took a friend of mine. I didn't mention my previous experiences. I happened to see the bartender who was so accommodating during my first visit, and was speaking with her while she was standing behind the bar at the server's station. Not soon after, that same manager, I think his nickname is "Plaboi" came out of nowhere and almost "ordered" us to stop our conversation and move elsewhere. While he may have been technically correct, his approach was horrible, as there were a total of 3 people sitting at the bar and less than 5 people in the whole place - And NO servers waiting for drinks. In face the place was a ghost town on Saturday night @ 10pm.
After I sat at the other end of the bar, this manager began to reprimand the bartender in front of everyone.
My friend and I decided to ONLY have the drinks we ordered and NOT to have dinner at Havana Haven.
In fact, I have decided NOT to patronize this establishment again - solely because of the manager's approach and behavior.
To the management, I would really take stock in how this manager is affecting your business and driving customers and their money out the door. I wouldn't be surprised if he is responsible for other customers and employees leaving as well.
All the best to you.
