Mae's Soul Food has unfortunately closed its doors on May 22, 2009, which is truly a loss for soul food enthusiasts. The restaurant had a reputation for offering excellent value for the price, making it a hidden gem in downtown Atlanta. The flavorful dishes, such as the tender baked chicken, delicious collard greens, and well-seasoned cabbages, left a lasting impression on many patrons.
