Visiting Gil's Broiler brought back so many memories from my college days in San Marcos, and the food exceeded all expectations. The burgers are perfectly cooked with fresh toppings and soft, buttery buns, while the thin, crispy fries and warm, gooey Manske rolls make every bite unforgettable. The friendly service and reasonable prices make it an ideal stop whenever I'm in the area, especially for those craving classic, old-school flavors.

Located in San Marcos, Gil's Broiler offers delicious burgers and famous Manske rolls that are a must-try, with my personal favorite being the 1/2 pound hickory burger and a side of Frots, all enjoyed in the nostalgic ambiance that has remained unchanged for almost 40 years.
