04/06/2010 - Terrible service. Low quality food at mid quality prices
I was sick of their chicken, so I wanted sweet & sour tofu instead of sweet & sour chicken. First they told me no, but I explained that all they have to do is substitute the chicken for the tofu, that's it, no special sauce or prep, after some talking the server finally brings me a dish of just tofu wtih sweet & sour sauce, this does not a lunch make. So she (or he, can't really tell) takes it back and they add the right veggies to it thanks to the nice server. Finally I can eat. I figured I could still order it as an 'Express Lunch' but no, they decided to charge me for dinner prices without mentioning the extra charge when I ordered. Plus, to make it worse, my friend and I each wanted a side of stirfry greenbeans. After we order, and waited for nearly half an hour, we were told they were out of greenbeans and they don't usually have them anymore. Then why are they still on the menu and there is no notice up at the register where they have a handy whiteboard where they post the specials? She said they were "too expensive." The casheir was rude & confrontational at every request no matter how simple. I will NOT be returning.
Furthermore, their restrooms are absolutely stick and my shoes felt trapped to the floor at every step. I don't even get take out anymore because their eggrolls are either soggy & not fresh, or they're tough and strange. They do not keep buffet food fresh and hot. Limited choices on dessert. There is not one special thing about this restaurant and thier prices are too high for such low quality.
You can pay the same price but get MUCH better service & food at China Star or Buffet Palace, and I do not work at either. I just love stirfry greenbeans.
