I called two days before Christmas as I am visiting my housebound elderly Mom. I wanted to know what would be open so we could plan our Christmas meal. I spoke with a gentleman named Tony who informed me you would be closed Christmas Day, however, when he heard the disappointment in my voice, he said he would call me back. This young man went to the trouble of calling me back with a list of restaurants that WOULD BE OPEN so I, being from out of town, could go find them and plan our special day. He went above and beyond with customer service and should be commended for his kindness and thoughtfulness. I'd use your service on all visits to Bakersfield in the future.

This place is horrible, after an hour of waiting I never received my order and my card was charged they were unreasonable on the phone and not friendlynthesevpeople are idiots!

We have ordered approximately 7 times through RR. Our first delivery was not bad but the order did not have the sides for a loaded baked potato. We did not think much of it until the next order when the same thing happened. The driver stated that the restaurant in question did not offer loaded baked potatoes even though it was clearly listed on the RR menu. We also eat at the restaurant in question so we know they do offer loaded baked potatoes. Now one might blame the restaurant for the missing items however RR is the one placing the order and delivering it. In all respects we are ordering from RR so it is there responsibility to make sure all items are present. After 5 orders for the same place we have yet to receive a loaded baked potato even after advising RR to make sure the sides were included.
Another complaint is the use of coupons. We received $3 and $7 off coupons. One driver instructed us that we could use both on our next order. We tried and were told we could only use one so we did. The next time we presented another coupon for $7 off and was told by this driver that they could not honor the coupons on delivery, even though right on the previous order receipt it says to "just turn this invoice in on your next delivery". There is obviously a break down of communication and its between RR and its drivers.
Our order this evening will be the last time we use RR. The aforementioned coupon refusal happened on this order. The bottom of the bag holding our order was filled with steak juice and all the containers were coated in the juice.
We have called in our order a few times. My wife placed the order with a woman operator who was rude and even questioned a $10 coupon we wanted to use as if we had made it up.
With all of our orders we have spent in excess of $150 over the cost of the food for RR's services. IF they did it correctly that would still be high but they don't even do it correctly. Save your money and drive to pick up your food orders yourself. This way you can check your order on site since RR seems to have trouble doing this themselves. You will save money and be happier with your meal.
