There's a fantastic locally owned, Black-owned restaurant that serves authentic Caribbean and West African dishes, and it feels like every meal is made with love. I tried the fried chicken and was impressed by the perfectly crisp breading, while the sides like the spiced candied yams and the cabbage packed a flavorful punch. The atmosphere may not be the star, but the food keeps me coming back for more, and I can't wait to try the plantains next time!
