After hiking with friends, I tried Mary's Gourmet Donuts inside a Dutch market, where the family-owned shop impresses with fresh, well-presented donuts made right before your eyes and a wide variety of flavors to satisfy different tastes. The staff is friendly, the prices reasonable, and the donuts-especially the apple fritters, coconut custard, and peanut butter-filled varieties-are tender, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the excellent coffee served there.
