The best food at any diner within 100 miles. Their chicken parm is better than the best in Binghamton. You can't finish the delicious chicken and biscuits. The soups are varied and better than homemade. No one has consistent service like Petes. The wait staff collectively have been there for decades.
There is always a line at the door that makes you wait a quick 5 minutes. ( because it's great food and very reasonable). Diner meatloaf, forget about it! Huge chef salad and grilled chicken salad, yum.
Anyone that can find a better diner around the triple cities isn't being honest. Oh, rice pudding and in house muffins are superb. Great people and outstanding food. Roast chicken,Omlelets,Goulash,...

I wanted to try Pete's for a while and when I finally did it was a disaster. It was the absolute worst meal I have ever had anywhere! I ordered fried clams and french fries and they were so dry I was choking. They had no taste at all. The cocktail sauce they gave me looked frozen at first. But it was not frozen. It was just hard for some reason. I actually started to feel sick before eating even half of everything. The soda was ok. I wasted my money and feel ripped off!
