My vegan friends and I showed up late on a Saturday morning to find a long but fast-moving line filled with polite folks, which gave us extra time to check out all the delicious homemade treats inside. The cozy, old-country store vibe with outdoor seating made it feel like stepping into a storybook, and the buttery croissants, vegan muffins, and rich coffee more than made up for the slightly slow service during the morning rush.

A great European style bakery! Their wild yeast sourdough is the best artisan bread I've found anywhere. I love the friendly, bohemian vibe â¤ï¸

This is a jewel in Bham's culinary crown. A true european style bakery, with the ambiance to go with it. I travel all over the country, and they make the best artisan breads and pastries I've come across. Their 2 kilo wild yeast sourdough boule (4 1/2 lb!) is one of a kind, made with all natural starter. Their croissants are made from scratch and are heavenly. I never miss a saturday morning, when the whole neighborhood gathers for croissants and locally roasted coffee, seated at sidewalk tables...it feels like a cross between a neighborhood social and a paris cafe. There's not a bakery in the southeast that comes close.
