Since moving from Birmingham, I've missed Makarios' unique dishes like the basha and their unforgettable chicken shawarma wrapped with garlic sauce and pickles. The flavors are consistently authentic, the staff friendly, and whether dining in or ordering delivery, every bite feels worth it despite any extra fees.

When called about the extremely high bill, manager said "sometimes we add tips to the bill because our waiters work for 4 dollars an hour". We in fact tipped them in addition to the bill not knowing the tip was already added. Makes us wonder if their waiters work illegally/under the table. Definitely will not be going back there.
