DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! I ordered from Tobin's for years with no problems. Pizza was perfect and delivery was usually on time. THEN, while putting the pieces on plates to distribute among the hungry, I saw the words to a Ricky Martin song penned in felt tip on the cardboard! OKAY why would anyone write on the cardboard and then to hide it put a pizza on top to send to a customer who will have a fit and call back to complain. Yes I did call back and the delivery person came and got it. I did not request a refund nor did I ask for a replacement pizza. I ordered from someplace else rather than risk another problem. That all occurred last year. Well I decided to try again. I was sure the employee who carelessly filled my order was gone by now.For a few orders things went well...until last week. I ordered a thin crust pizza and a Mama Teresa deep pan. I requested the thin sauce on the deep pan as I do not like the tomato chunks and ham. The thin crust was to have sausage, bacon and black olive. The thin crust pizza arrived but the deep pan did not. The driver thought he must have given it to someone else. He called back and they said another driver would be here shortly. Everyone else ate and I waited for the pizza. I even tipped the second driver for his trouble. Everything was great until I opened the package. I received a deep pan with sausage and bacon and the tomato chunks on top.. As I stated before, I ordered a deep pan with the thin sauce and ham. Yes I do know that sausage, bacon and ham are all pork and I did get pork toppings but I do feel I should have gotten the topping I requested. Also I should have gotten the thin sauce rather that the chunky tomato pieces. I pitched it in the trash and chalked it up to experience. A $12 fiasco is not the end of the world. Certainly it will not happen again, right? WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
On Friday, 4-Feb-2011, I placed an order for a small thin crust everything and a small Mama Teresa's deep pan pizza with the thin sauce and ham.
The order did arrive within the hour. The order was place at 6:17 according to the ticket which was very close to my watch. When I checked the order form I noticed that Molly, the order taker, had not written down my request for thin sauce on the ticket.. This request was made at least 4 times during the order. I was taken seriously by Molly who just dismissed it out of hand. Okay she did write ham on the ticket. From what I gather getting it half right is good enough for some people but I really want 100% if the money is coming out of my pocket. I called back and explained the situation to the manager who prompted vowed to make it right. At 8:15pm my dinner finally arrived. and fro the second week in a row I settled down to eat alone as everyone else was finished eating. You can not even imagine my disappointment and disgust when I bit into RAW DOUGH rather than a fully cooked pizza. For the second week in a row I had to pitch my dinner in the trash and find something else to eat. I can not afford to waste money on a business that can not properly fill order for what ever reason. Yes, I will be telling this to everyone I know because that also work very hard for their money and deserve better than what you have to offer.
