I keep getting amazed by this cool joint. Great vibes for catching awesome bands. The sound can be a bit tricky to catch all the words, but it's probably on purpose to get you grooving. Plus, knowing the lyrics makes it like my own private karaoke spot, which is pretty chill. Getting there a bit early to snag a seat is a game-changer. Having a home base for your stuff, a place to chill, and a spot to set down your drink really amps up the boogie factor. It's a snug spot - cozy enough to feel like home. The Olympic is exactly what Boise was missing, a laid-back venue for indie tunes. Spacious with plenty of seating and a dance area that's just right. The ticket prices are totally fair, making live music nights doable again. And having Mulligans downstairs? Perfection! The Olympic Hotel sat empty for ages until Wil Kirkman worked his magic and transformed it into this rad music spot. We had our office party there and it was super comfy, with cool vintage ads on the walls. The only bummer is the bar only does hand-mixed drinks - no blender in sight. Would've brought my own if I knew.
