After my classes in Somerville Ma, i decided to go to Harvard Square to meet one of my friends, so i decided to go to Bertucci´s Restaurant, long time ago i wanted to go there because one of my best friends works there, Jonathan. So, i was so happy finally i could know my friend´s job,.!! but i wanted just to have some beers while i wait for my friend, but what happened..? i ordered a beer (Miller Lite), the server was very polite and i know is his job to ask for ID, i show him my regular ID from my country Honduras, he was looking it when i thought that he was not sure with that one, so quickly i gave him my ID from the Government of USA, he took it to show to the manager, but the manager DID NOT accept it, why? my question is why they did not accepted..!! i´m 24 years old, how old do i have to be to buy a beer in Bertucci´s Restaurant..? i can not carry many ids with me, and i prefer to keep with me my ID from the government of USA because it has more value than my passport.!!! other question is, was it a discrimination because i´m latin ? does my document from US Government has any value for Bertucci´s Restaurant.?.... when i was at my job a police stopped there to buy some food to go, i told him about that and he told me they should accepted mi ID from US because nothing is wrong with my birth date.
