the old guys who worked here were great. they gave large portions and they were clean. the new staff unfortunately is noting like the old staff.
I went to the Falafel Palace to get three chicken plates last Thursday (7/24/2008) at 5:10 pm. The young girl (new staff) who was at the counter could hardly cut the meat off the rack. Then one piece of chicken fell on the floor. I saw her pick it up from the floor and put in on my plate. I complained that the chicken had become contaminated, but she said "it is clean". How do you argue back? Then another older woman came to her rescue and kept repeating "it is clean".
This story gets better. Before the older woman started talking, she was scrubbing dirt from the handle of their stove using the knife they use for cutting bread into small pieces.
I dumped the chicken plates when I got home. Needless to say, I am not going there until the old staff comes back, or they fire the new staff who do not care about hygiene.
